Bioeconomy Ireland Week 2022 will be launched by Martin Heydon TD, Minister of State at the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine, with special responsibility for Research and Development, Farm Safety and New Market Development.
The launch will be followed by a a half a day ‘Bioeconomy Research Symposium’, where DAFM funded researchers will provide an outline and update of the bioeconomy research they are undertaking, and how it can be applied to aid Ireland’s transition towards a sustainable and circular bioeconomy. This will be in the form of oral and poster presentations.
The event will also include two panel discussions; one involving leading bioeconomy stakeholders and the second panel discussion to finish the event involving the event presenters.
Due to capacity limits, this is an invite only event.
