Thesis in Trees
During Bioeconomy Ireland Week, PhD researchers from the NxtGenWood Project shared innovative wood and tree research at the National Botanic Gardens. Eight researchers presented their work in quick, engaging talks with props, while visitors explored the gardens. The event created opportunities for informal conversations with scientists, and kids enjoyed a map and treasure hunt designed to keep them engaged.

Kids
Inspire the next generation through fun, creative, and hands-on activities that introduce bioeconomy themes in an exciting and accessible way.
Industry Professionals
Provide opportunities to share innovations, explore new technologies, and exchange knowledge that drives sustainable change across sectors.
Audiences
Events can be designed for different audiences, from local communities to professionals and policymakers. A mix of perspectives ensures Bioeconomy Week is inclusive and impactful.
