The TU Dublin School of Food Science and Environmental Health will host an activity-based event in TU Dublin Central Quad, Grangegorman lab on Friday 20th of October. The events will be hourly from 10am. There will be a variety of agri-food related applications of bioeconomy including demonstrations and hands on activities. For example, activities in our bioeconomy suite will use microalgae; in the Food Innovation Lab will focus on food waste valorisation/nutraceuticals/product development and a research group will showcase bioplastics films from agricultural waste.
This free event is open to members of the general public of all ages.
