The TU Dublin School of Food Science and Environmental Health will host an activity-based event in the Central Quad labs (Grangegorman campus) lab on Friday 18th of October. There will be a variety of agri-food related applications of bioeconomy including demonstrations and hand on activities. For example, activities in our bioeconomy suite will use microalgae; in the Food Innovation Lab will focus on food waste valorisation/nutraceuticals/product development and one of the research groups will look at bioplastics films from agricultural waste.
This free event is open to staff, students and members of the general public of all ages.
