Irish Rural Link are hosting this webinar as part of its delivery of RUBIZMO, an EU Horizon 2020 funded project in which IRL are one of 16 partners. RUBIZMO- Replicable Business Models for Modern Rural Economies – aims to identify the vital ingredients for developing entrepreneurship and successful business models across the sectors of food and agriculture, bio-based value chains and ecosystem services and in turn generate jobs and growth in rural areas. This webinar will focus on the Irish Bioeconomy sector and how the learnings from RUBIZMO can be adapted in an Irish setting. Presenters include Brendan Mulry from Irish Rural Link introducing the Rubizmo Network/Coperation Tool, Patrick Barrett of the Department of Agriculture, Food and Marine providing an overview of the Irish Bioeconomy in 2021, Cathal Geoghegan from Biorbic and Kieran Harrihil from UCD and the BiOrbic Centre speaking on the topic of “Farmers and Networking in the Irish Bioeconomy”.
